Terms of Use
These terms keep Hear Every Note fair and free for everyone. By using the site you agree to them.
Last updated: August 27, 2026
The service
Hear Every Note is a free ear training site: interval, chord, and note-recognition games, a daily challenge, and public leaderboards. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be retired.
Accounts
- An account is optional and free; it exists to sync your scores across devices and place you on the leaderboards.
- Keep to one account per person, and pick a username that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating someone else. We may rename or remove usernames that break this rule.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Sign out on shared devices.
Fair play
Leaderboards are only fun when scores are real. Do not automate gameplay, tamper with requests, exploit bugs to inflate scores, or otherwise cheat. We may remove scores or accounts involved in manipulation, and we may correct leaderboards at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the contact form, probe or overload the service, scrape the site at volume, or attempt to access other users' data. Security research is welcome only via responsible disclosure to [email protected].
Content and intellectual property
The site's design, text, code, and audio assembly are the property of Hear Every Note. You may link to any page freely. Short excerpts with attribution are fine; wholesale republication is not.
Advertising
The site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. How ads and cookies work, and your choices about them, are described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hear Every Note is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the site, or ask us to delete your account, at any time.
