Train your musical ear in the browser: hear a sound, then find the actual notes on a music staff or piano keys. There are three game modes, note recognition (one pitch), intervals (two notes, ascending or descending), and chords (triads and seventh chords), on 20+ real instrument sounds: piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba, and more.
Unlike multiple-choice ear trainers, you locate the real pitches, the same skill you use to transcribe melodies, play by ear, or sing in tune. Games are five short rounds, difficulty scales from an 8-note major scale up to your instrument's full range, and transposing instruments are handled correctly (answer in written pitch, hear concert pitch).
Everything is free with no signup. Play the daily challenge (the same puzzle for everyone, once per day) or create an optional account to join the leaderboards. Works on phone and desktop, and installs to your home screen as an app.
